Barkwood Play Park is a conceptual restaurant and bar designed for dog owners, combining a casual dining experience with a dog-friendly indoor/outdoor play area. This project explores how a brand identity can create a cohesive, memorable experience across all touchpoints, from the logo and printed materials to environmental signage and packaging. The goal was to develop a playful yet professional identity that reflects the brand’s fun, welcoming atmosphere while remaining versatile across digital and physical applications.
The project began by defining the brand personality and target audience, balancing a playful, approachable tone with professionalism to appeal to both dog owners and casual diners. The main challenge was creating an identity that felt fun and playful while still conveying a sense of quality and sophistication. I also knew the brand would need to work across a wide range of touchpoints, from physical packaging and signage to digital and social applications, while maintaining cohesion.
I explored multiple logo concepts and iterations, testing color combinations, typography, and iconography until achieving a design that felt flexible, friendly, and distinctive. By applying a consistent visual language across all deliverables, including environmental and packaging mockups, I created a fully-realized conceptual brand that demonstrates how a strong identity can unify multiple experiences and elevate the overall brand perception.
